A volunteer is someone who contributes their time, skills and expertise to an organization or group and gives their time for free. Volunteering offers vital help to people in need, worthwhile causes and the community. In return, volunteering provides a sense of purpose and the opportunity to develop and explore interests, learn new skills, gain career experience, increase self-esteem and self-confidence, have a brighter outlook on life, make new friends, improve overall mental health, stay physically active and become more involved with the community. The more you volunteer, the more benefits you’ll experience.
The To The Rescue HOPE Foundation was established to support safe and affordable housing, employment opportunities, transportation, healthy living, community access, advocacy and other essential needs for the at-risk population (primarily elderly and individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities) in Iowa, Colorado and Arizona. Our mission is to empower and support at-risk individuals and those assisting them to live their best lives. Our goals are to secure funding and resources to improve the quality of lives for the at-risk population and our vision is to be the premier and largest recipient of grants, donations, etc. for the population we serve.
The To The Rescue HOPE Foundation has seven (7) volunteer opportunities available. If you have a passion to support at-risk individuals with needs that interfere with their quality of life, a volunteer position with the To The Rescue HOPE Foundation may be for you.
